Quick Start

Get up and running with Curate in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Add Your Library

Click the Add Library button in the sidebar and select the folder containing your samples. Curate will scan the folder and add all audio files to your library.

Supported formats: WAV, MP3, FLAC, AIFF, OGG

Step 2: Automatic Analysis

Once your files are imported, Curate will begin analyzing them using custom-trained ML models. This process detects:

• Instrument type (drums, synth, vocal, etc.)
• Genre characteristics
• Musical key
• BPM
• Whether it's a one-shot or loop

The analysis runs in the background - you can start browsing immediately.

Step 3: Search & Browse

Use the search bar at the bottom of the screen to find samples. Try natural language queries like:

• "punchy kick drum"
• "atmospheric synth pad"
• "jazzy piano loop"

Or use traditional filters to browse by instrument, genre, key, or BPM.

Step 4: Preview & Use

Click any sample to preview it. Press Space to play/pause. When you find what you need, simply drag it into your DAW.
